IELTS Speaking Part 3: Favorite person
Does everyone in this world have a favorite person?
It is not necessary that everyone in this world should a favorite person, but I think that everyone in this world is either impressed or affected by the work or personality of another person.
Are you ambivalent about a person in this world? Why
Yes there are times when I liking a person and at the very next moment I start hating that person. I guess it is not the people we hate or love it is the way they behave. I remember that I used to like my friend but after he insulted me I started hating him.
Is it necessary that the person whom you like should have the same likes and dislikes as you have?
Some people believe that people with similar interest or beliefs tend to connect better but I have an entirely different view. I think that in order to like a person we do not to like them. Liking a person is a pure thing and it cannot be done thinking so much.
How much time does it require to start admiring a person? Why
That would be my favorite question, as I believe that we can even start liking a person in 1 second. There is a common myth that he the strongest form of love is love at first sight so I believe that falling for someone or liking some can happen in a second and we do not even have the power to control our feelings.
What is the single thing which inclines you to get impressed from a person?
The single thing which would force me to like a person is his or her honesty. I greatly impressed by the people who are honest. Honesty does not have boundaries so an honest person is a person who does not hide anything even if the truth is going to harm him or her.
Why do people always like successful people?
Most of the people in this word only get impresses from a successful people because their story is told to the entire world, but I do not look at the result. As a matter of fact I like to look at the amount of effort a person put in to a thing no matter he won or lost.
How do you perceive people who idealize someone?
Everyone in this world has a right to like someone but he liking should not result in copying the person completely. We should acknowledge the efforts of other people but we should not be just imitating them completely because the same decision might have different result for different people.
Has your choice changed over the years?
My choice has persistently changed over the years. There was a time I used to like very successful people but as the time progressed I realized that life is not about being successful or unsuccessful. It is actually striving till the last breath for the things in which we strongly believe.
What other things can influence you in your life?
There are many things which can influence our lives. The primary thing would the way life treated us and the other would the kind of relationships we have with our loved ones. A successful man might only like eminent personalities and a child whose parents left him might only abhor blood relations.
