Lately, a new public library was opened in my hometown. Although there are many libraries in my hometown, this one is quite spacious and is being deemed as a state-of-the art facility. If I remember correctly, it opened on 7th January. Actually, it was going to open last year in the last week of December, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, they had to delay the plan of opening it.
Since my hometown is now inundated with universities and colleges, students were constantly demanding a new library. They were complaining that the libraries in the universities were not providing good services due to dearth of resources. Thus, the government decided to open a new public library.
I would like to visit the library since I have been told that the library is rendering a wide range of books, and I have always been a voracious reader. Moreover, it was also written in a newspaper that a hefty amount of money was spent on acquiring software by which people would be able to get every book on earth in soft copy. That is something I am really looking forward to see. I am anticipating a quite pleasurable experience after becoming a member of the library provided that they provide me a discount on the membership.
