If your teacher is going to make you speak in front of people that is actually a good thing, you should not take it negatively. If you are a reasonable person you would get motivated from this process and try to speak better in order to save yourself from the embarrassment, but if you are a paranoid you will just keep silent and demotivate the entire class.
